Sweta holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.com.) Degree from University of Mumbai. Driven by her keen interest in taxation, she worked for several years in a Chartered Accountant Firm to gain deep understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxation. Later, to expand her knowledge and skill set in legal area, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) Degree from the University of Mumbai.
She is working as an Associate at India Law Alliance and has been a part of the Tax team since 2022. In the field of taxation, she has an experience of over 10 years. She is involved in drafting writs, replies to show cause notices, appeals and assisting clients in cases related to direct as well as indirect taxation.
She regularly represents clients before several courts including the Bombay High Court and various other departmental authorities.
